Dr. Elwood is an OBGYN and a reproductive infectious diseases specialist with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia. She completed her B.Sc and M.Sc. in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Western Ontario, then went on to medical training as an OB/GYN and a Reproductive Infectious Disease Fellowship at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Elwood is a member of the SOGC Infectious Disease committee, which makes recommendations in reproductive care as it relates to infectious diseases.
