Detailed prevention and early treatment strategies can be a valuable tool in mitigating the prevalence and intensity of diaper dermatitis in the NICU. Nurse practitioner Jeanne Scotland is a leading Canadian voice on neonatal skin care and shares her knowledge in this episode.

Jeanne Scotland has worked with neonoates for more than 38 years, in a variety of roles, including as a neonatal nurse practitioner. She is a graduate of the Wound, Ostomy Continence Institution and is passionate about neonatal skin care. Jeanne is the lead of the neonatal skin injury prevention quality improvement project for Alberta Health Services’ Calgary Zone NICUs.
